Operated by the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia (JCSA) & Ajwaa Alsaudia, the racing season at King Khalid Racecourse in Ta’if is unique in the region. Located at higher altitude than The Kingdom’s other main racing venue in Riyadh, it is the only place in the GCC where racing is possible during the summer months due to its cooler climate.

From mid-June until early October Ta’if plays host Saudi Arabia’s racing elite for a 16-week programme of Thoroughbred and Purebred Arabian racing.
